Bochra Laghssais

Bochra Laghssais is a 23 years old Writer, Feminist thinker, Academic Researcher, and Storyteller from Morocco and recently graduated from the International Master of Peace, Conflict and Development Studies at Jaume I University in Spain.

Bochra is a Youth and Girls Education Advocate who has been affiliated with U.S. Peace Corps Morocco where alongside various other volunteers, she worked on youth Development Projects such as the Life Skills and GLOW (Girls Leading Our World) program in which she took part and facilitated workshops that aimed on skill enhancement and empowerment.

On 11 October 2016, the date that marks the International Day of the Girl, Bochra was invited to the White House to be part of the LET GIRLS LEARN Initiative led by former First Lady Michelle Obama to discuss the challenges and struggles of girls education in Morocco and potential solutions to these important issues.
