Ali Şahin (1989) was born and raised in The Hague. He is presently based in Schilderswijk.

He is a graduate student (MA Journalism & New Media) at Leiden University yet feels more at home in the fields of post- and decolonial thinking and intersectional feminism. He is currently working on a project called *star (space to talk about race) at Leiden University.
