Volunteers wanted!
We can’t do it without our volunteers. Are you a lover of literature, poetry, or music, or do you just want to work at a festival in 2026? Then sign up as a volunteer for Read My World 2026!
For the festival taking place September 10–12, 2026, we’re looking for volunteers to join the following teams:
* the decor team/setup & teardown (before and after the festival)
* the reception team at the ticket office, information desk, and guest reception
* vigilant and attentive audience guides
* the flex team (production assistant/backstage)
* the marketing team (content creation)
What we offer:
* A fun team of curious volunteers who all feel a connection—in one way or another—to the theme, the festival, and/or literature.
* Access to festival programs after your shifts
* Lunch and/or dinner during your shift
* Refreshment vouchers and the original festival T-shirt
What we’re looking for:
* Flexibility to work on September 10, 11, and 12
* Living in Amsterdam is a plus
