“The battles over women’s bodies can be won only by a revolution of the mind”
― Mona Eltahawy, Headscarves and Hymens: Why the Middle East Needs a Sexual Revolution

Feminist writers and journalists discuss the body within three themes: sexuality, the state and activism. Egyptian-American writer Mona Eltahawy enters in several short conversations with different women who all have a link with Morocco and more importantly, have something to say about these specific topics.

Under the moderation of Clarice Gargard:
Mona Eltahawy speaks to Fedwa Misk about the body and sexuality.
Mona Eltahawy speaks to Mariam El Maslouhi about the body and activism.

The duo conversations will be followed by a panel closing and Q&A.

The programme language will be in English.
Fedwa Misk will speak in French and will be translated on stage into English by Bochra Laghssais
