During Gentrified Stories we will explore gentrification through the stories of writers living in gentrified cities. This edition we have stories from Rotterdam, The Hague, Amsterdam and Berlin.

Munganyende Hélène Christelle, Hizir Cengiz, Malique Mohamud and Simone Dede Ayivi will share their story.

Simone will join and offer her perspective from Berlin. The writers will share their experience of seeing the many shifts in their surroundings: the arrival of new neighbours and businesses, how they are affected by rental increases, and more. Their reflections and concerns on these demographic changes affecting them and their communities will give us a new perspective. The audience will experience how it is to live in these gentrified cities through unique and personal stories that have an impact on all of us.

The moderator of the evening will be Soufia Zahri.

This is the old program, on 3th of July 2024 the new program will be available!
