Writer, poet, journalist, instructor. She studied Translation and Interpreting Studies. From 1996 to 2006 and from 2012 to 2015 she worked at the Turkish-Armenian weekly newspaper Agos as editor, head of the editorial department and columnist. She has completed an M.A. in Comparative Literature. She regularly writes to various web sites and teaches at children literature workshops.
