Growing up on West Kruiskade in Rotterdam, Gery Mendes is an original product of the Rotterdam docks. He started writing English lyrics for the Dutch hip-hop group: “Dutch Conspiracy” in 2000. It was then that he gained huge respect and grew a big following in the underground rap community.

When GMB turned eighteen he also joined Theatre Company: “Rotterdams Lef” crossing the bridge into the world of theatre. In theater GMB developed into the multitalented artist that he is today.

Musicality and charisma are the trademarks for his dynamic live shows and his nonstop energy make him a much requested performer for prominent hip hop events such as: “Urban town, Bassline en Chocolate” GMB is a born entertainer who enjoys every minute of being on stage.
