Karim Ellouta is a spoken word artist and studies at Rotterdam University for teacher social studies. Under the stage name Benzokarim he wants to inspire open conversations about social and personal issues. He participated in the program Next Generation Speaks and is coordinator of Poetrycircle The Hague. He has performed on the stages of; Woorden Worden Zinnen, Mensen Zeggen Dingen and Mooie Woorden. He was second runner up at the Dutch Championship Poetryslam 2020. Benzokarim aims to touch and connect people through his spoken words. But more than this he wants to keep enjoying, writing and performing his poetry.
