Amal Alhaag lives and works in Amsterdam.

Her projects and collaborations with people and institutions invite, stage, question and play with ‘uncomfortable‘ issues that riddle, rewrite, occupy, share and compose narratives in impermanent settings.

Maria Guggenbichler and Amal Alhaag have been collaborating since 2013. Together they initiated the Side Room in Amsterdam (2013-2016) and collaborate on many other events, projects, pranks and trickster moves.
