Black American music continues to be an endless source of inspiration, comfort, resistance and empowerment.

Timeless classics like Billie Holiday’s Strange Fruit, Sam Cooke’s A Change Is Gonna Come and Beyoncé’s Formation are just a few examples of songs that have also made their way into the heart of Europe. In this program, Right About Now Inc. invites Dutch artists to perform and reflect on songs that are of personal meaning to them.
