We invite three Dutch lyricists to talk about their song writing processes, their message and bending the boundaries of genre.  How did you start writing, what is the role of good beats/ a producer and how do you convey your message through lyric? What is it like to break with genre traditions and make music that is uncontainable by a single “label”? This year’s edition will focus on the writing of love songs in all their forms – for your sweetheart, God, your child, mother, the world – and how through song, one can put nebulous feelings of love into words.
