On the road to the Read My World – Black USA Edition – Festival in October 2017 we are presenting a series of movies outside (open air cinema!) that show the contemporary black culture in American cities. Every movie will be introduced by a Dutch writer. 

The third edition is Videoclip Night! Reflecting Cities selected music videos that represent futurism in American cities. With lots of clips directed by the ‘video king’ Hype Williams. In videoclips for Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, Mary J Blige en Tupac Williams shows how hip hop constructed the future and inspired a new generation of artists.

You can expect relaxing summer nights with delicious food, good music and movies.
