Poetic Bodies
Dance and word, movement and language: two forms of expression that often exist separately, on different stages and in different contexts.
Dancing poets and poetic dancers search during Poetic Bodies for the relationship between the two. Through performance and conversation, the creators explore, based on each other’s work, the shared essence, sources, knowledge, feelings, and urgency from which both forms unfold. Where do they touch, merge—and also: how are they (radically) different, and how do they interact, reflect, and inspire each other in their work?
