In this theatrical storytelling event, followed by a discussion, the theme I Am a Papuan is central. The inspiration comes from the 1969 book I Am a Papuan. Its author, Zacharias Sawor, fled West Papua after his imprisonment and came to the Netherlands with his family, where he became a spokesperson in the struggle against human rights violations in West Papua and for the self-determination of the Papuan people.

This is an initiative by Nancy Jouwe, in collaboration with Vien Sawor, Frank Irving, and Hank van Bosstraten, and with the Papuan House.
