Vlinder Verouden

Vlinder Verouden (1999) captures brilliance in words and images. As a poet, spoken word artist, trans researcher and frequent sharer on Instagram, Vlinder tries to capture these sparkles before they disappear in the light of the new moon. Some brilliance is about being trans, others about grieving as a form of loving and others about carrying the countryside with you forever. Vlinder was coordinator at Poetry Circle 070, went on a writing residency with Noordwoord last March and published an essay in a public collection about Taylor Swift with Atlas Contact in May. Vlinder has performed for the National GSA Congress, in the Van Gogh Museum and during Poets in the Prinsentuin.
