Marthen Luther Reasoa was born in Saparua, Central Maluku, Indonesia, on 31 October 1988. He graduated from the Department of Language and Arts at Pattimura University. Marthen is an Indonesian poet, literary organizer, and literacy advocate from Maluku. He writes poetry and performance scripts and facilitates poetry writing workshops for students and the wider public in Ambon. As the leader of Bengkel Sastra Maluku, he curates literary and cultural events that bring together poetry, local knowledge, and community participation. His poems have been performed, adapted into musical works, and published in newspapers and anthologies.
