Emilie van Heydoorn studied Theatre-Film and Television Studies and Gender & Ethnicity Studies at Utrecht University. She holds a master’s degree in Creative Producing and currently works as a creative producer at Dawn Collective (formerly Rosestories), Typhoon Events, and Production House Brut (De Nieuwe Oost). In 2024, she founded Production House MONDI, a community-driven production house that addresses social issues through art productions. She is also a freelance writer for Theaterkrant Magazine. She has held various roles and positions within the cultural sector and worked at the Bijlmer Parktheater until 2019.
