As a literary Portuguese-Dutch translator, Anne Lopes Michielsen strives for the dissemination of Portuguese-language literature in Dutch translation. She is particularly interested in contemporary prose and untranslated writers from the entire Portuguese language area. In addition to her translation work, she is committed to the visibility of translators and is active in the literary field in other ways.
